No i did not go to the Airshow.
Yes i feel cheated.
But i guess relatives come before airshows.

2 of my relatives have injured themselves.
One of them fractured their toe.
Another hit his head real hard and had to get 8 stitches. Yeap 8. On his head. Good thing he's bald.
Well i guess its a good think anyway since i got to see me beloved sister:D

Then the adults sat together and started to give us lectures.
The usual, "Boyfriends aren't right for you guys at this age & Education is very important" lecture.
Listening to them i'm starting to appreciate Physics and POA lectures.

As per normal, not much time left for homework.

Preethika came over after a very very very long time.
YAY.
We ate home food.
Preethika ate alot as usual.
Gran said she put on some weight.
She looks the same to me, maybe thinner. Gained weight. i don't think so.
The amazing thing abt preethika.
No matter how much she stuffs herself she never gains weight.Haha.

Then we indulged in chocolate ice-cream while watching Scoob Doo 2 - (the movie).
OKay,
the muesum curator(Velma's crush) is hot in a dorkish kinda way.
Daphne is pretty but she wears too much pink.
& Freddie seriously needs decent clothes.

The movie ended quite late so we didn't have much time to chat.
Anyways. It was awesome to spend time with her again:D

I simply adore Learning Journey Days.

Not that we learn much from it.

I guess the only thing i learnt is to bring insect repelent next time i visit the zoo.

Ohh .. i learnt polar bears have black skin.

Well thats one.

I also learnt that if you wanna buy decent souvenirs from the zoo you have to at least bring $40.

Anyways i had fun.

Preethika is quite famous at the zoo though, there were posters of her almost everywhere.Haha.

Its a class-deco-everyone-has-to-stay-back-and-do-their-part-day.
Yeap a very long day indeed.
And apparently only 10 people were willing to stay back to help.Shheesh.

So..
We outlined the animals faiqah drew and pasted the 12 zodiacs outside the class.
As usual we got bored.
So me and atikah came up with a who-ever-uses-their-paper-ball-to-hit-a-zodiac-wins
game.

And we got bored again.
So we started stuffing each others face with newspaper and everyone joined in.
And we got bored again so we started throwing bluetacks instead(did i spell bluetacks right?)
Then it got really violent and we all started running all over the classroom block on the loose.

As for the class deco?
Well we just have to do it some other day:)
Ohh. and we discovered that Zul laughs like a girl. Haha.

Some secrets just have to be kept till its time:)

The Big Day

We got our O level tamil results today:)

There were tears of joy and tears of sorrow.

A friend felt down for not performing as well as she wanted to.
Im not really good at comforting people-but i hope i helped.

I just wanna say.

You are a super smart person.(Yes you are!)
The results may not be as good as you expected it but its not the end my dear.
You have other subjects, you still have a very good chance of pulling it off.
Its just tamil.
Nobody is dissapointed with you, we just hope you will work harder for your other subjects and prove to those brainiacs that we dont have to be goody-two-shoes to score very well.
Remember that we love you and will be by your side to encourage and motivate you to do better.

SEC 1 Orientation Camp 2010

It was the BEST camp ever.

1/1A was an awesome class.
They were a great sport and fun to be with.

I even made new friends.
Farhan, Kai Li and Diyanah were awesome people.

Though i was made fun of and called aunty and maggie mee, im sure they didn't really meant it.
At least i think so.
Hm...

The camp fire was CRAZY.

It was so completely fantabulous.

Well even though we did not win the best class.
Im really proud of them to have transformed from quiet and unconfident people to loud, noisey and enthusiastic people.
I hope they continue to stay bonded as they were.

Ooohhh.. im gonna miss them.

2nd Day Of Sleepover.

We woke up at 9 O'clock this morning and the first eight hours of the day was spent at Tekka.
I know, it sucks. Due to some upcomeing event we had to shop for indian traditional wear and jewellery for my sisters. Bleh.

When we came home everyone sat down to talk about the "event" . Major Bleh

So there is this cake that my uncle and aunt make that tastes fantabulous.

Since they were here and the idea was tempting i asked them to make it for me. But.
They were running late and my couz claimed that she knew how to make it.
I admit i was quite doubtful abt her skills but as long as i get to eat the cake it was all good for me.

Everything went well untill we realised we forgot to put in Ghee.
So we put the cake mixture back into the mixing bowl and added it.

Then we realised we forgot to add the milk.
So we put the cake mixture back into the mixing bowl and added it.

Then AGAIN we realised we forgot to add the vanilla essense.
So we put the cake mixture back into the mixing bowl and added it.

Finally we cake made its way to the oven. Hallelujah
After 45mins of baking.

It was not fantabulous but it was good. The cake rised and it looked really pretty but not many people were brave enough to eat it. COWARDS

After a day of hardwork we ordered pizza and settled ourselves to watch a movie.

Sleepovers

So my couz came over to stay at my place last Saturday.
YAY!

We were suppose to catch Avatar at CWP.
But all the shows had every seat booked except for the first row seats which are closest to the screen.
Yes it is incredibly stupid to sit in the front row unless you enjoy 2hrs and 45min of nack cramping action.
Yes i do literally mean it.

Anyway my mom had bought this new tamil movie so instead of going CWP we satyed home to watch it.
It seems that im not allowed to mention to anyone that i watched this movie with my couz.
She planned to watch it with her Bf.
If he found out she watched it with me first she's gonna get screwed. (Stupid boys)

Well bottom line is the movie was incredisomely STUPID.
Therefore either she tells him she watched the movie already and skip watching it again or she has to sleep
through the 4hr movie again.

The Movie i was looking forward to, all holiday.

Got tickets at AMK with nanthini akka to watch it at Grand Cathay.
We ended up getting dressed late and had to take a cab all the way to town.
By god's grace we made it on time.

I really liked the book, but the movie was a complete snooze fest.
The only thing i looked forward to during the movie was to see Taylor Launtner drop dead hot body.
Edward looked extremely fugly.
Bella is brain dead, what does she see in Edward?

Went to Plaza Sing later for shopping.
Yet again i did something stupid.
Went completely crazy when i saw the complete BOF series selling for $19.90.
Purchased the DVD paid for it and i left it in the store.
Thankfully reminded of it by my sis before leaving the mall.

Ate SUBWAY!!!!
Did not take any pictures though.
Had an awesome time though i wished they sold something that i could buy without going completely
bankrupt.
Impossible. I know:)

today was a horrid day.

Frens were acting wierdly.
CIP was amazingly fast and boring.
On top of that i screwed up my interview.

CIP, guess it wasn't that bad coz i was grped with Preethika and Amir...& Siraj
We finished it lyk in half and hour.
The interesting part of the whole CIP:   I found a bitten apple on top of a letter box.
                                                           We put the flyers in the wrong letter box.

Hmm.. thats about it.
Later met HAZIRAH and went for OGL interview.
Interview was crap.
I totally screwed up.
Didnt take off me chain... DAMN.. HOW ON EARTH CAN I FORGET THAT.
A friend commented on my skirt. (it hurt alright)

i felt really down after that.
i didnt expect him to talk about my skirt like that.
No i swear i did not adjust my skirt.
Guess its bye bye ogl.

We bought hotdogs and sat in the admiralty park to eat.

OMG.
This was the most exciting match ive watched so far this season.
It was totally AWESOME!!
Manchester city.
The fakes.
They had no talent in their team.
So they bought players.
yes they do suck
But thanks to all those great players they bought they are doing very well.
Craig Bellamy was an amazing player.
Given was a fantastic goal keeper. (did not expect him to keep out those two headers by Berbatov )

However the better side won:)

Giggs. No matter how old he never loses his touch.
Anderson. Did a good job with mid-fielding.
Foster. Really hope Edwin van der sar will be back soon.
Roony. He gave the club an incredible start but could have been better afterwards.
Fletcher. Shocked me, did not expect him to score two goals in one match.
Ferdinand. Really disappointing, he just gave the ball away to bellamy, that was a really stupid mistake.
Valencia. Fabulous control, he changed the whole match, the reason we had possession most of the time.
Owen . I just love him to death.

ORAL EXAMINATIONS.

The only exam i ain't afraid of.
It went well considering my sore throat and continuous coughing.
P.E was fun as usual but very tiring.
But my day got brighter.

After oral aswini, preethika, priscilla, sheri and i went to 883 to eat.
I bought Chicken chop with xtra fries, aswini bought carrot cake and our preethika as usual bought her chicken rice.

We all ate happily. Aswini found it quite difficult due to sheri's constant babble of stories.hehe.
I stuffed Sheri with food to give aswini some time to have hers.
Pris was ranting on and on and always had something to say for almost everything.(T.T)
Preethika was happily distracted with whats on her plate.
It was really awesome to get together like this again after a very long time.

It ended at like 10- its the first time ive seen a 21st birthday part end at 10.
The people at the party were such a turn off.
Hello people are performing you can at least show some grattitude by clapping.
BUT NO. Everyone was so busy stuffing themselves with food!
and the worst part..they all left after they ate.
I hope at least the presents will make up for your brother.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANTHINI AKKA!!!

I had so much fun last weekend.

It was simply awesome!!

The party was amazing!!

I hope you liked my little present.

Summary of what happened:

We went to east coast beach to camp overnight for my sister's birthday.

We booked the last bbq pit.

It was far away from the other pits and we really enjoyed the privacy.

The food was brilliant.

My sister got nicely whacked with cake.

We camwhored like mad and the cake was so good.(CHOCOLATE CAKE)

I made new friends: suganthi, gayathri, prabesh, vicki.

I met my cousins whom i missed alot : Vicky anneh, viji anneh, vaani akka, pappi akka, and all the kuttis.

We all including the adults played some new games vicky anneh taught us.

we played police and theif.

Later i gambled with vicky anneh.

He is well-known in the family for showing incredible magic tricks with cards but it was freaky when everytime we played he got exactly 21. I owed him alot of money which i did not pay him of course.

I will NEVER play blackjack with him EVER.

Later we played Dog and Bone. It was super FUN untill the birthday girl fell backward and hurt her hand.

Vanni akka scared us with her real life ghost stories.

Viji and Vicky annaeh later went to show off their new bickes.

Around 3 am they left home.

ME my sister, gayathri, suganthi, vicki and prabesh went walking.

We layed down near the sea on rocks and stared at the sky.

It was so pretty, it was cover in so many stars.

Prabesh told us to keep quiet and listen to the sound of the waves.

He was like,"listen to the waves they each have their own story to tell.."

We were like wow how do you come up with these stuff.

He would make a perfect tour guide. hehe.

however nobody could stop talking and prabesh kept pleading for us to shut up.

It was so beautiful, prabesh was right after all, to listen to the sound of the waves.

We all fell silent for a very long time until vaani akka and vicki started to snore.

They didn't just snore, they snore EXTREMELY LOUDLY.

It was abt 5 in the morning and prabesh promised to show us the sunrise.

He said,"aantha rendu ships nduvuleh sun rise pannum."

i was so excited we all just sat there and waited for the sun to rise.

It was 8o'clock, everywhere was bright but the sun had not risen in btw the ships.

When we asked him wheres the sun he said the sun only rises after 8??!!

He does not make a good tour guide after all.

Arnd 8.30 everyone started to leave, we were the last to leave.

I had such an amazing time.

Cant wait to see them again.

Friday 14.08.09

Today was totally awesome.

E-maths test was alright, I'm actually pretty confident about getting an A thought i know i made a slight blunder with my last question. Hopefully it doesn't cost me my A.

After school Preethika came over to my house as she had a dental appointment afterwards and had lots of free time.
She help me to create this blog-i really had great difficulty creating it the other day.
It was really cool, i got to choose my theme colour scheme and stuff and i posted my first three posts.

Later she had dinner with me.
She may look very thin but i learned not to under estimate her - she eats ALOT. (ha ha)
She told me she always eats alot but she still thin because she has high metabolism rate.
We watched television and talked while we ate.
We talked about so many thing though i currently can't remember what we actually talked about.

I also showed her the Bonus assignment i did on Cristiano Ronaldo whom i really really really LOVE. We also had yummy ice-cream. After a while Aswini called, she had just finished her Teachers Day Concert rehearsal and wanted to join us.

Aswini arrived later and we all decided to check out other students blog, later we view the National day celebration photos we took.

Somehow we started talking about dream bedrooms and i told them that I'm going to have a room makeover.
I showed them a page from this thick IKEA book and described to them how my room was going to be. They were both excited and we decided to have an opening ceremony for my room. We would ties three ribbons across my doorway and each of us will cut one ribbon. They said they will visit everyday if my room is finished and it looks just the way i promise them. :D

Finally it was time to say goodbye, it was getting so late Preethika had to reschedule her appointment.(HA HA)
Time flies when we're together!

Time to go watch television.

Mother tongue common test!
Its one of the tests we don't need to really study much for.
Its one of the tests we don't have to crack our heads remembering formulas.
Its one of the tests we don't need calculator and has nothing to do with maths.

I was quite happy with the paper, it was not too difficult but i cant say it was easy.
I managed to finish the test 5 minuets early and had time to correct my mistakes.

Other than that school was boring.
I went home immediately after school as i have maths test tomorrow.
I hope it goes well.

Fried Food Day

Wednesday 12.08.09

Today was fried-food day.

I only knew whats fried food day after azhari told me last month.
I'm really slow aren’t i.
Well recess was awesome. I had chicken burger and potato wedges with Milo.

I am going Milo crazy nowadays. I have Milo with breakfast, with lunch and whenever I feel thirsty. I have this whole crate of mile packets at home but I still buy them from the wending machine during recess.

But I just can’t help it, they taste so awesome.

Mother tongue lessons were fun today too. Me and my friends kept cracking up jokes and my teacher wasn’t really happy about it. She felt that “we were disrupting the lessons”.
I think we make her lessons a whole lot interesting though. I still like my MT teacher a lot; I think she really has a lot of patients and tolerance with us.

I walked home today with Sheri and Sarah.
We were talking on and on about celebrities and we decided to rate them from number 10 to number 1.

Tuesday 11.08.09

Time at school seemed to fly by today, before I knew it I was home.

Preethika was not feeling well today.
She had stomach crams in the morning. She vomited in class sometime before recess.
I rushed to the toilet and later brought her to the sick bay. I thought of getting her something to eat but the office clerk advised me not to.
Unfortunately her parents were overseas so she could not go home.
What a day but things seemed to brighten up towards the end of the day.

Before I left school faiqah gave me this card she made for me.
She wrote:
“A very very very big THANK YOU to you! You had to take charge of the N.E. board because the I.C.s wont. You took the initiative. I am so proud of you. I am sorry I couldn't help much but anyways the N.E. board looks brilliant! Its all because of you.
THANK YOU! I LOVE YOU.”

I was very touched at the fact that she took her time to make such a beautiful and colourful card for me. Faiqah if you’re reading this I really appreciate what you did for me it made me feel appreciated and I LOVE YOU TOO!!

Got to go revise for social studies now, I hate social studies.

Monday 10.08.09

Today is a holiday!!
Finally we get some well deserved break.YAY!

There's just one thing I don’t understand.
I thought we aren’t suppose to get homework during common test period!?!
Rightfully there should have been no homework given on Thursday (last day of lessons)
We should be revising right now but we still get homework.
This is totally unfair.

I guess I'm going to be stuck the whole day at home trying to finish homework and revise at the same time – How very frustrating.

Tomorrow is the English common test 2.
Hopefully the test is not as difficult as the comprehension practise we tried last week. It was really EXTREMELY difficult.
I’d sure I’d fail the common test if that were the case.

I can’t wait for the end of the common tests.
